Snippets of last week.

This is my most favourite month of the entire year because except for one week, the rest have 3-day weekends! The government should make it mandatory to have 3-day weekends because it’s good for your body, mind and soul.

Tried to go to Tropicana Mall City after work last week. I had no idea it’s so near my office but then again, it really doesn’t make much difference because of this:

At Tropicana Mall City, we decided to have Ninja Joe’s for dinner. It serves these rather tiny pork burgers but they are so delicious! I had two flavours – original (love this!) and spicy. Been having a lot of rich, fusion burgers so Ninja Joe’s was a really nice change. Who needs cheese and pickle? Crispy lettuce, fresh tomato and mayo – that’s all you need.

I’ll be back for more.

I’ve just changed the pussy horn on my car to a more ganas one. I was embarrassed to horn people, now it’s payback time!!!

Besides a month of public holidays, this is also a month of giving. Hannah Tan, easily the most down-to-earth, hardworking & humble person I’ve ever known is throwing a charity concert on the 20th December 2009, 4PM at The Gardens Hotel Ballroom, Midvalley. There are no tickets to buy, all you need to do is just buy a present that you can afford for underprivileged children of various orphanages. The presents will be distributed through independent community service partner City Care.

“This Christmas, my team and I are looking into promoting the 1 Malaysia spirit of giving among the local pop-culture community towards the less fortunate (in this case, orphans and HIV infected children who do not have families to share the joy of Christmas and the year-end festivities with) through a Christmas charity concert. Not many are able to make time to visit these children so we want to use this charity concert as a means of gathering the pop-culture community in the name of music to make the difference for these less fortunate kids.” – Hannah Tan.

Besides Hannah, some of the celebrities who will be performing are Harith Iskander, Hans Isaac, Pietro Felix, Daphne Iking, Jojo Struys, Reefa, Sasi The Don, Meet Uncle Hussein, Reymee and Sam of Innuendo, The Fabulous Cats, Caprice, Atilia, and Liang, among others.

I don’t know about other people, but when it comes to Hannah, I’m certain she’s doing this for the children and not for self-serving reasons. I’ll be going with a couple of friends and hope you’ll support the concert too!

You can find out more at Hannah’s website.
