Happy Chinese New Year 2023 from the Davieses! Wis Happy Chinese New Year 2023 from the Davieses! Wishing everybody a healthy, happy and prosperous bunny year 🐰🧧🍊🎇❤️
Happy New Year 2023! Here's a throwback to my 2022 Happy New Year 2023! Here's a throwback to my 2022. It wasn't all smooth flowing but we had generally a nice year.

Jan/Feb - Settling into our new home in Hanoi, getting boosted in Vietnam, then getting the 'rona. Adopted a plant we named Lucia. Celebrated Lily's 4th birthday.

March - Celebrated @higarethdavies' 44th birthday and explored Hanoi. Kids also finally went back to school in real life 😭

April/May - Trip to Vietnam's countryside, Ha Giang. Tough journey but worth the experience of a lifetime. Dad & Aunty KT came to visit, and also to babysit hehe ❤️

June - Kidless trip to Maldives! What a place 😍! Fair to say my relationship with my husband was greatly rejuvenated. The pandemic did put pressure on both of us, so thank you Maldives for bringing us back together. Then, more exploring Hanoi with my folks.

July - Trip to UK to see family. So wonderful to see Mum after so long. The kids especially were so happy. Liam turned 8 and I turned 38 🥹

August - Still in the UK. Awesome time with Qin & fam at the Cotswolds. London was HOT but we had a blast visiting Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Harry Potter Studio!

September - Back in Vietnam & flew straight to Phu Quoc. Had low expectations for this holiday but wow JW Marriott totally blew the roof off. What a wonderful resort, totally helped that we were upgraded to the 2nd best suite on the property 😁👍We didn't venture out of the resort and it was perfect.

October - Time to pack. Our 1 year in Hanoi came to an end. Determined to have a laidback month before we leave but then Liam got bitten by a dog, inside a restaurant 🥲 Thank goodness he's okay.

November - Happily back in KL. Attended Pete & Jia Wen's beautiful wedding. Got to vote & so thankful for the universe's timing. Reunited with Gareth in Hong Kong. Anwar is PM!

December - Felt blessed to see HK while it's still fairly quiet. I brought the rain the 1st week but after that, weather was glorious. Did some big girl shopping (very thrilling 🤑) and boy, did I eat. So happy to spend Xmas with friends and family I've missed.

Here's to a healthy, happy & peaceful 2023 everyone ❤️
What a fantastic week of merry making leading up t What a fantastic week of merry making leading up to Christmas 2022, a far cry from our quiet celebration last year. The shopping, the eating, the faces of children ripping into their long awaited presents, seeing beloved family and friends - Christmas is definitely my favourite holiday! Wishing everyone a wonderful rest of the year 🎄🎉🎁❤️💐
Went at lunchtime hoping to beat the queue and I w Went at lunchtime hoping to beat the queue and I was spot on. First in line for my saluran, although it did worry me a little that folks my age aren't turning up? But I shall chalk it to the early morning surge and it will probably build back up later in the day when it's cooler. Thank you to everyone who voted. As for those who didn't exercise your vote even when location and costs suit you, hmm please stay quiet about it and don't try to justify your decision because nobody cares. Fingers crossed for a renewed Malaysia tomorrow 🤞

Me, myself and Mumbai.

I went to Mumbai and all I did was spray vomit all over my colleague’s bathroom and eat cardboard sandwiches.

My room in Bombay.

View of the slums from my window.

Cardboard food and soup/liquid ghee.

Shit that I do when I’m bored at home.
