My teddy bear.

Hehe…she had a haircut. The groomer got crazy with the clipper (our mistake). So, some pictures to commemorate this moment because she’ll never ever look like a boy again! After losing all her hair, she got rather suicidal and kept jumping off from high places. We literally had to watch her every second so that we could catch her before she breaks a leg. My mom was so sad for two days. Someone told us that it’s normal for shih tzus to get depressed after a major haircut and eventhough it sounds so ridiculous, I’m starting to believe it :(

She’s gotten much better though these days because we gave her a lot of loving :) She’s also been promoted to my parents’ bedroom so now she sleeps in a basket (like the one in the pictures below) by their bed. I’m so glad because I really hate seeing her locked-up in a cage.

The cage now functions as a toilet only. I’m happy to say that she’s properly weewee/poopoo trained. Although the other day she ter-weewee on my bed because I was too engrossed in playing with her to realise she had been scratching my bed for a long time (that’s her sign that she needs to get to her cage to relieve her bladder). Alas, poor girl let it out :P

I took her to KY’s house for Kura-Kura’s party too. She was a hit and even the birthday girl felt envious of the attention Sisi received ahahha. Sorry Rach LMAO.

What a wonderful week!

My boyfriend had almost a week off so we’re off to my parents to relax (read: play with my pup), celebrate my Dad’s 50th birthday and play with my pup.

We went to a park called Taman Pudu Ulu, which was nice and clean with plenty of jogging paths and grass. Sisi pooped at the first sight of green, which was a surprise cause she had already pooped at home. Luckily I had some rough papers, so I used them to dispose off the stink nuggets. I used to agree with the notion that pets should never be brought to any public area because they tend to be dirty and disruptive but I’ve come to realise that it’s NEVER the pet’s fault. As a dog lover friend had told me, there’re no bad dogs only bad owners. You know, just like naughty, kurang ajar children…it’s always the parents’ fault.

I really hope that more pets owners will be more responsible for their pets especially when it comes to hygiene, safety and sound control then we won’t see anymore “no pets allowed” in public places! Pet owners unite! BRING YOUR POOP BAGS PEOPLE! Hehe.

Here are some pictures we took at the park with my D70s, published here straight from the cam with no processing. Some were taken by the boyfriend and some by me. Dayum the power of 85mm…superb sharpness and sweet sweet creamy bokeh hmmm hmmm. I wish I could post all of them here but I shall refrain lest I get dubbed the Dog Lady again.

Oh well, not like you’re not already expecting to see me drop off from the blogosphere and live happily ever after with my pup and family :)

This one is my favourite :)

Today was family day as well as my Dad’s 50th birthday. I had a great time bringing Sisi out today because she’s gotten used to the carrier I bought her. In fact, she loves it so much it’s becoming a sort of sanctuary for her. I was afraid that it was too big for her but she’s grown to fit in it nicely. Here are really cute pictures of her sticking half her sleepy head out of the bag. Taken with N82. I know, I know stop posting pictures of Sisi right? Never, buddy.

I can’t wait to go home and see her again. Just blogging this is making me grinning from ear to ear. I can’t decide what to get next, a mini schnauzer, yorkie or another shih tzu? Probably a male yorkie cause shih tzu is asian and yorkie is a brit…heh heh heh (private joke – and even if you’re able to decipher this private joke you don’t have to state it out word by word in the comment section, it’s not a popquiz dumbass).
