You know you’re an aging blogger when you keep receiving anti-aging products to review. It’s not nice to be reminded of my age but hey at least I get to explore all these products and keep my nightmares of turning into Gordon Ramsay at bay.
The latest potion I’ve been bestowed with is Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream. I love how no-nonsense its name is. “Wrinkle Relaxing Cream”. I have wrinkles and I need them relaxed, no beating around the bush.

But above it all, I love the technology behind it. Instead of manipulating the skin, Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream manipulates the path of light that bounces of your skin which in turn, gives an appearance of smoother, firmer skin.
This is thanks to the discovery of skin’s “optical signature” or light scattering properties of skin. Yes, Olay scientists have identified technologies that are able to manipulate the path of light, making it possible for mature skin to replicate the optical signature of younger skin.
I like how logical it all sounds and I am actually quite excited in trying this product out. I need to slap it on my forehead!
# – This is my forehead, unshopped with no makeup. @_@
That thing that looks like a nipple in the middle is a mole so that can’t be helped. But the blemishes, pimples and fine lines around it? *sad face*
Due to the optical signature manipulation tech, it is said that visible results can be seen after only one application. I took the liberty to check it out and here is a before & after picture.
# – It’s subtle but 10 minutes later the lines are visible finer! I think it’s more apparent just right underneath my mole. HOLEEE it works!
I know what you’re thinking now…the Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream must merely be a quick-fix. Like that just use makeup foundation also can, right?
Far from it actually. The Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream is packed with Regenerist’s signature Aminopeptide Complex, which include ingredients such as Pal-KTTKS, niacinamide, Pro-Vitamin B5, Vitamin E, Allantoin and the latest – a new biopeptide called Peptamide Y6.
For those in the dark, these peptides are acid chain found in collagen that helps to signal cells to produce new skin.
According to Dr Cheong Wai Kwong, an Olay Asia Cell Technology Research Centre member, the Olay Aminopeptide complex helps to speed up the process of skin cell renewal without compromising the integrity of the skin barrier.
All in all, you get a quick solution to wrinkles & fine lines which also improve skin tone and evenness in the long run. I am planning to use this for 14 more days to see if my skin’s condition improves further.
# – You have no idea how much effort it took me NOT to photoshop this picture! T_T
Hoping the Olay Regenerist Wrinkle Relaxing Cream will make my forehead as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Watch out for my next post!
