Introduction to Stage Cosmetics in Pavillion

A bunch of us women bloggers were invited to a makeup session by Stage to try out their cosmetics. Stage was conceptualised locally by Alliance Cosmetics – the same beauty house that gives us brands like Revlon and Silky Girl.

Stage is located in Pavillion, Kuala Lumpur. The studio is spacious and sleek with proper lighting for that all-important cosmetic sampling. You know, the last thing you’d want is to walk around looking like a kabuki mask after putting on makeup in warm, orange, often complexion complementing light.

Their wide ranges of products are displayed clearly categorised, and you’ll definitely find yourself browsing for hours for the perfect kit.

Together with Syen and Kahani from So Loverly, as well as Paris and Bee (thanks gorgeous for roping me in!), we got down to the fun bits…the makeup lessons!

Our instructor was Mr. John Boudville, a pleasant and jolly fella whom I have to applaud for patiently guiding us in the right way of making up.

He taught us everything, from the correct way of applying foundation to getting the perfect lips.

Stage is very affordable compared to other brands of the same quality (I’ll categorise Stage in the same league as MAC and Bobby Brown). Most items are under RM100, starting from RM38 (a lash curler that’s pretty awesome). I also like the fact that their packaging is simple, fuss-free but still classy. Definitely won’t be embarrassed to whip it out when air of competitiveness is thick in the powder room, hehe.

After the session ended, we were treated to a photography session. Here we are camhoring to the max.

By the way, I was amazed that my makeup lasted, even after a long walk in the humid carpark looking for my car. You can find Stage in Mid Valley Megamall too!

  1. adoi KY, apa hell hell this?? o.O

you’re most welcome ma dear.. :) and yes, I have to echo PB’s question – how on earth did you manage to get those pics to show up so well (especially the colour!!) half my shots were either blur or decolourised.. :s

  2. ky: wtf?

pb: so did you! hmm..i turned off the flash and jacked up the ISO. some of the pics are from Stage’s OP so if yours look blur on your blog it’s probably your photo host, maybe photobucket compresses the pictures too much. i’m using flickr.

    bee: see my answer above!

  3. Actually it was already not nice pre loading which is why I got pissed and refused to put any indoor pics LOL but thanks for the tips. When I jack up iso i get noisy pics so its a toss up i guess.

  4. Did you know that Stage is having buy one free one promotion til 5th July? This applies to their eyeshadows, lipsticks, lipglosses, blushers..
