Lets Celebrate 70 Years of Healthy Skin with Cetaphil

It’s Cetaphil’s 70th anniversary and to celebrate this momentous occasion, they are giving away 70 Cetaphil hampers to 70 happy Malaysians worth a whopping RM270 each!

Cetaphil was invented in 1947 by a pioneering pharmacist in Texas. Its first product, the “Cetaphil Cleansing Lotion”, now known as Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser still uses the very same formula! Over the years, Cetaphil has expanded their products to Malaysians including Cleansers & Moisturisers for the entire family (Cetaphil) and for children under 2-year-old (Cetaphil Baby), Sun Protection (Cetaphil Daylong) and also a specialized skincare range for eczema-prone skin (Cetaphil Restoraderm).

As you have already know, Cetaphil is one of the most loved products in my family. I love the Cetaphil’s simple philosophy of achieving healthier skin with just two steps: Cleanse and Moisturise.

Our everyday starts and ends with cleansing using the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, followed by the Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream. They’re great for both face and body, hypoallergenic and dermatologist recommended. Personally, even Liam’s paediatrician recommended Cetaphil to us.

I am happy to collaborate with Cetaphil to gift these hampers to a few of Malaysian readers and all you have to do is to:

Tell me your skin story and how can Cetaphil help in my comment section.

Each hamper contains the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser, Cetaphil Moist Lotion and other products too. The most engaging and authentic stories will win a Cetaphil hamper with all the products you need before the year 2017 wraps up! Remember to leave an active email address so I could get in touch with you.

Thank you Cetaphil for making everybody’s skins healthier, softer and gorgeous since 1947. To find out more about Cetaphil, click to Fb.com/cetaphilmalaysia

All the best in winning the awesome Cetaphil hamper and happy 70th birthday again Cetaphil!

Hi Kim, Cetaphil’s been a lifesaver for our family! My husband and two boys all have eczema, and the Cetaphil moisturisers have proven themselves time and time again. From the Cetaphil baby, the regular moisturisers, to the Restoraderm range, Cetaphil’s a firm favourite in our family!

“What do you clean your skin?” I asked as I stared at his smooth skin.

    “Oh nothing, just water.”

I can’t believe it, here I am with hormonal break outs (tough being a girl eh) and open pores although I tried my best to do a proper skincare routine.

I wouldn’t say I have bad skin, but it could be better as the occasional breakouts when the aunty is near can be horrifying. I am also always finding products that has less chemicals and easy to use, and I believe Cetaphil fits the bill.

I am also quite lazy when it comes to taking care of myself so a cleanser that can clean my face and body would be so useful hahaha. I backpack a lot so having Cetaphil as my skincare will definitely makes things easier especially if the hostel’s bathroom is not really promising, and if I want to travel light. 😂

Hi Kimberly, I’ve loved reading your dayre and stories about your family, so I’m glad you’re doing this giveaway.

Since young I’ve never really taken care of my skin properly, never really had a proper skincare routine. I only started taking note that my skin isn’t really in its best condition now, despite being only 21. It’s dry, therefore it gets oily, causing my pores to be huge. So I’m now actually in the midst of searching for the best skincare products for my skin.

I’ve never used Cetaphil before until my brother’s girlfriend came over and she was using it. I tried it and it’s really gentle on my skin. It would be great if I could incorporate Cetaphil products in my routine as I feel that it’ll be beneficial for my problematic skin.

It’s better to be late than sorry I guess. I hope I could win the hamper :) My email is xxxcelinetan@gmail.com

Thanks for reading my story! Much love to your family.

Hi Kimberly! My son has mild eczema on his arms, I tried many cream out there, even steroid based ones.. But it kept coming back! In the end, one Peads recommended me Cetaphil Gentle Wash and also Cetaphil Restoraderm. It did wonders! As long as I kept moisturising his skin every 2-3 hours, his eczema is kept under control. I couldn’t be happier! Thank u Cetaphil!

    Hi Kimberly!

I’ve had bad skin and acne since my teens (I’m now in my early 30s), to the point that I’ve taken roaccutane and antibiotic courses a few times over the years.

Really hoped I’d grown out of it but nooo it came back again earlier this year so I started another course of roaccutane as the acne was really ruining my confidence and life :(

Anyway long story short, my face cleared up and I’ve recently stopped the course. Really hoping the acne doesn’t return, and I’ve been looking for products suitable for my acne prone and sensitive skin. Hoping that using Cetaphil will help! Thanks!

    Hi Kimberly,

I had my bad skin and acne during my last university year and working in manufacturing environment and even resulted to Roaccutane. It seems that I have bad breakout when I’m in stress. Nowadays my skin is controllable but actually I want to give this to my sisters in law. They are in their teen and have acne breakout. They have been using multiple products to help their skin but some of the product is quite shady. I tried my best to inform them but I can’t stop them.
I hope with this give away, they can try the Centaphil product and help them clear their skin.

    Hi Kimberly,

I got to know of this giveaway from reading your Dayre! So cutting to the chase.. I was introduced to Cetaphil by my cousin as I was having bad acne outbreaks. She was an avid user of Cetaphil and it helped with her skin. Therefore, I started by using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and liked how it was a mild formula without any strong fragrance. I’m still using the cleanser now, more so as I’m studying overseas in the US, where the winters are cold, harsh and drying. Moreover, I also use the Cetaphil Daily Advance Lotion to help alleviate dry skin and itchiness especially during the winter months. It is moisturising without the heavy and sticky effect.

Overall, I’m loving the Cetaphil range and how it is gentle on my skin! Thank you :)

6 months before my wedding, I scrambled to the dermatologist as I needed my face and back (yes, I have bacne..huhu) cleared of acne. I was so shocked when the doctor told me his solution: to use NOTHING on my face, no facial cleansers and no make-up. Just baby powder!

How could I leave home without my winged eye-liner and mascara? What about my statement lips so that I don’t look like a pale dying bride in my pre-wed photos?

I adhered to the nothing-on-your-face solution for a grand total of two days (I am a rebel like that) and found my own solution – the most gentle cleanser I could find – Cetaphil! I guess it’s as close as I can get to nothing on my face!

It’s been 6 years and my face is pretty clear off acne, except for the one or two when Aunt Flo comes to visit or the giant volcano that magically appears one day before an important meeting…

So this is my story –

A long, long time ago, (in a galaxy far far away :D ) I grew up as an awkward teenager with the usual skin issues – pimples, oily T zone, flares when in contact with strong soaps etc. This I took care of by using OTC facial washes, but it really never went away. When I started working, my skin began to suffer badly from long party-nights, drinking, and lack of sleep. My face was like a rebellion in full force! I gave up and went to consult a dermatologist, who told me that my skin was actually very sensitive, and all those products I’ve been using were too harsh :( I was introduced then to the Cetaphil range, and from then on, slowly and surely, coupled with better lifestyle choices, my skin healed and I have a fairly better complexion now. I never looked back, cos I know a good thing when I have it and my skin is the living proof. I hope to continue my daily routine with Cetaphil as I’d like to have good and healthy skin as I grow older. Thank you for being there for, Cetaphil !

    Hello Kimberly ;-)

I would like to share something that has been so soul destroying and killing my confidence when i was going out and exposed to public domain. This really hard and took time for me to accept the truth.

Okay everything started when i was 14, i’ve had mild acne and i thought that’s normal for puberty acne stage so i don’t really care about it at all. But then, it became worst from time to time and i still remembered that one of my sir greeting me with words ” Hye Sarah, long time no see ya ! Hey what happened to your face ? why do it’s look like “KERTAS PASIR” ???? . Damn ! That’s words really hurts me a lot and i still remembered it till now.

After that moment, i’ve struggled to find cure for my acne face. And yesss luckily i’ve found cetaphil and totally impressed yet fell in love with this kind of product. I love to share this with all so that way i can help others through my experiences. LOTS OF LOVE FROM ME <3

    Hi Kimberly,

My main skin problem is oiliness at the T-Zone area and that is causing pimple breakouts which is very annoying. Having too many pimples at a time is causing negativeness to my self confident level. I have tried a couple of different face wash and moisturizer brands but somehow it doesn’t seem to work. The pimples just keeps coming back more and more.

Recently I read about the benefits of using cetaphil. There were alot of good reviews about it especially by people with acne problems. I really hope it could help cure my acne problem too and bring back that confident ‘flawless skin’ level again.

    Hi Kimberly,

Luckily I have got the chance to drop a few words about Cetaphil here. I have been using Cetaphil moisturiser and cleanser for the past 10 years if I’m not mistaken. My skin is very allergic to makeups and as its getting older the skin feels dry, rough and tiny wrinkles start to appear around the eyes. As I cannot use any types of makeups I went to the doctors and they recommended me to use products that do not contain parabens or lanolin. After a few research of readings, to gain knowledge about sensitive skin like mine I feel very happy to find this Cetaphil products. At first I am a bit worried to try it thinking that it might not give a good result to my skin. That time, I felt really down every time I meet my friend and new people. My sensitive skin makes me feel so ugly. I could not even use loose powder as dried skin would made it looks worst with white patch of powder here and there clinging on to the dried skin cell hanging to my face. It would makes me looks like a ghost. Hantu Mak Limah Balik Rumah. Hahaha… At first, I tried it for a month then continuosly untill to date 2017, next 2018 and forever with Cetaphil. Now I can go out without any makeups. Just apply the moisturiser and with some little loose powder apply on my face I still can be very confidence. Of course I drinks a lot of mineral water, as usual eat lots of vegetables and fruits daily. And to tell you some more, some people thought that I am in my late 30s or early 40s. Actually I am already in my 5 series of age. Lalalala….. Thank God and thanks to Cetaphil that give me back my confidence.
