This is probably something that many people don’t know. Tesco has an awesome range of baking and cooking stuff! From utensils to ingredients, you name it and you’ll probably find it.
# – Entrance to Tesco Mutiara Damansara.
As some of you may know, I’m a huge fan of cooking and baking. And Tesco was and will always be my go-to for baking/cooking supplies.
Why? Cause they are all good quality stuff! I think there’s a misconception that Tesco has lower end products but that can’t be further from the truth. Tesco carried a lot of high quality products – all you need is to look out for the Tesco Finest logo and you can be assured you’re getting good stuff.
# – Tesco Finest.
The other way for me is to read the labels…often time you can tell whether something is good or not from the ingredients. For example, sugar (good) vs high corn fructose (cheap and bad). And Tesco has loads of products, even without Tesco Finest label that contain very good ingredients.
# – We buy loads of Tesco brand stuff. Picture of my dry ingredients cabinet :D
Oops, sorry I’ve veered off a little. Lets get back to my baking/cooking supplies from Tesco. Most of my non-stick baking tins/trays are from Tesco. They have this range of non-sticks that are really good value!
# – Me posing with the non-stick pans/tins (purple labels). I have at least one of every design :P
# – Cookie cutters, moulds, cake cups etc.
# – Want brush? Spatulas? Rolling pins? You know where to go.
My most used item during cooking, my large mixing bowl also came from Tesco. I’ve seen the same thing sold at other places for at least thrice the price – it’s ridiculous!
# – Picture of my large mixing bowl which I bought in Tesco…rolling pin too :)
So in my opinion, if you’re baking and you’re cooking, please go to Tesco. You won’t be dissappointed!
# – Yeah, am happy :) This section of Tesco is my favourite during Xmas season, which is soon!!!!
I am going to give RM100 Tesco vouchers to the first comment that can direct me to an awesome Xmas recipe that I will use at my The Annual Christmas Party at Davieses’.
Quick! Comment now with your active email address!
Happy baking & cooking :)

By the way, Tesco Malaysia, in its efforts to Help Children with Leukaemia recently launched Walk for Life 2012 which will be held on 9 December 2012 at Bukit Jalil Park in support of underprivileged children suffering from leukaemia.
Under the theme of ‘Helping Children with Leukaemia’, this is one of many Tesco Malaysia’s fundraising efforts aimed to raise RM1 million to help 100 children with leukaemia from underprivileged backgrounds in three years.
Open to all members of the public, tickets to participate in Tesco’s Walk For Life were priced at RM15 for adults and RM10 for students, and can be purchased at any Tesco in the Klang Valley. Tesco hopes to raise some RM50,000 from this initiative.
