Make muzic with your mouth!

Have you seen the latest advertisement of Munchy’s MUZIC Wafer Cubes?? If you haven’t, this is the one.

Catchy jingle isn’t it? To think that the entire tune was made solely by one’s mouth! Pretty incredible. Now you’ll also have a chance to show of your mouth’s music making talents and win some great prizes while at it with Mimic to the MUZIC Contest!

All you have to do is record yourself in video doing your most creative rendition of the MUZIC Wafer Jingle. Whether with an empty barrel, a water balloon or even a Vuvuzela, as long as the music comes from your mouth, it’s uniquely yours and there’s a MUZIC Wafer pack in your video, you’d stand a chance to win some the cool iPad 32GB!!!!! There are 3 to be won!

Make sure you submit your video before 4 August 2010 because after that, the 20 best videos will be shortlisted for voting to determine the winners.

To participate, just follow these easy steps!

1. Check out the MUZIC Wafer commercial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uax6stxi0ag or download the MUZIC Wafer track HERE. Watch the commercial and study the jingle till you have a good grasp of the tune.

2. Now… shoot a video of you doing the MUZIC Wafer Jingle in the most creative ways imaginable. Remember, your video MUST feature at least one MUZIC Wafer pack and cannot be longer than 30 seconds. Your mouth must be shown while mimicking the jingle in the video.

3. Submit your video in the page here.

4. Chill and wait. If the judges selected your video as a Top 20 Finalist, you will be notified and your video will be up for voting. By the way, all Top 20 Finalists will automatically win a Munchy’s Hamper worth RM150 each ;)

IF, you are not chosen as a Top 20 finalist, you can still win one of 10 iPod Touch that are up for grabs! Here’s how…..

1. Vote and rank your top 3 favourite videos in the order of your choice by dragging and dropping your selection into the vote box. And then hit submit. (Everyday you have one chance to vote and rank your 3 of your favourite videos. Miss that chance, and it won’t carry over to the next day. So don’t forget!)

2. The next day, repeat your votes and ranks. You can also choose to submit a different vote and ranking if you like.

3. Keep at it until the end of the Voting Period (11 August till 31 August 2010).

Basically, your votes will determine the best video winners while their rankings will determine the winning voters. Meaning, if your ranking accurately or closely match the final winners standing, you’ll stand a chance to win an iPod Touch. With 10 of them to be won, there’s definitely a big chance for you to win!

I really, really want to win an iPad, so I’ve decided to participate in Mimic to the MUZIC Contest with this video….

So how do you find the video?

By the way, if you’re interested in maximising your winning chances, please check out Munchy’s Put MUZIC in Your Mouth SMS and Win contest.

Happy Birthday to me.

In about an hour from now 26 years ago, my mom gave birth to her 1st born in Chinese Maternity Hospital. She was a colic baby and was most difficult to care for; she loved crying especially during other people’s sleeping hours.

Of course, she grew out of it eventually, and Mom thought that the worst was finally over. Alas, her baby girl hit puberty and along with it came the biggest egomania and hormonal rage. Mom realised that dealing with a colic baby was farrrrrrr better than a rebellious teenage daughter.

This young girl who talked back to her, said nasty things to her and who absolutely refused to listen to her – how could she be the baby she once sucked thick mucus out of a tiny nose with her mouth for?? I bet she was devastated.

Weren’t you, mummy? Hehe.

Later on, our relationship got better and better and early this year, she posted this on her blog which made me teared up:

My daughter was born on 23rd July (Mon) @ around 10am, weight 8lbs, she’s my 1st born and the only girl in the family. She was a colic baby..for the 1st 6 months she sleep during the day and wide awake during the night.

I sometime felt that she has been bullying me since the day she was born, during her teen year she use to bully her younger brothers, they call her name behind her back like “fei poh, pat poh chey chey, wong how, pa wong kai la” etc.etc..Her back up, of course the DADDY! Whenever ther’s a fight the daddy always turn around and speak in a very soft tone “girl y u like that” and to the boys his tone change completely.

Her rebellious during the 2nd ten years really make me sick, heartache and in tears most of the time, i hv been asking myself thousand time what hv i done to deserve this,is that part of growing up or im not the kind of mother she expect me to be and when is she going to grow up, grow out of it.

Before she graduate and announce she’s going out with an ang moh. I was like..now what..,what she got herself into but the daddy said ” trust her, she’s big girl now”. Ok,I should let go and trust her, that was 5 years ago..YES! the daddy is right, I’M VERY HAPPY FOR HER.

My daughter really really has grow up to become a fine young lady, she manage her life well, happy and most important got someone who’s sincerely, honestly love her and care for her.

As a mother,i feel proud and happy for her, although sometime she still give me the ‘headache’!

I guess it’s safe to say that I’m no longer a pain in my Mom’s life (ok, maybe sometimes). Now that’s the biggest achievement in my 26 years of life.

I love you mummy!
