Why I love the FreshLook Illuminate - Narcissism is Necessary

Why I love the FreshLook Illuminate

I was diagnosed with short-sightedness in college and eversince I hardly wear glasses unless I’m driving on unfamiliar roads (and that is if I remembered to bring my glasses). Admittedly, this blatant disregard to my eyes is due to vanity. Unfortunately, the constant straining of my eyes has caused them to deteriorate to a point where it has begun to annoy myself and everybody around me.

Just visualise a couple of these scenarios:

1. You’re walking in a park with a friend. She asked you, “Is that a puppy?” The truth was, it’s not a puppy. It is in fact a 2 year old toddler. And this happened every time you and her pass by an object or a person.

2. You’re in a car driven by a friend. She asked you, “What does that signboard say?”, pointing to a direction. You asked her, “What signboard???”. “That!!”, she wagged her finger earnestly. You, flabbergasted, answered, “But all I can see is a tree!”. And then you started to worry about your own safety for the entire duration of the journey.

3. You’re in a cinema with a friend. You’re enjoying the movie. You turned around to check how your friend is receiving the film and there she was, asleep peacefully. Later, when the movie has finished, she confessed she couldn’t see a single thing.

Have you ever been in these scenarios?? Well, I have. I am the half-blind nightmare in the scenarios above.

I know what you’re thinking. If I were so vain, why don’t I just wear contact lenses and get it over and done with? That’s the problem, I’m not just vain…I’ve also got very sensitive eyes. Truth is, I’d been prescribed a set of monthly disposable contact lenses a couple of years ago but I tried one pair and swore them off forever. Until today, they’re still sealed in their packaging & uhrmm, expired.

Recently, my eye condition has gotten so critical I started to consider wearing contact lenses again. So I did some research on contact lenses and stumbled upon this website: http://www.freshlookilluminate.com/. It’s currently hosting a Freshlook Illuminate 3-day free trial lenses and you can enjoy the free trial by just signing up at the website.

Freshlook Illuminate 3-day Free Trial

I did just that and got my free trial lenses :)

I was given 3 pairs for 3 days. Each lens is packed in a space saving plastic container and sealed off with foil to ensure utmost hygiene.

With the foil lifted, you will find the lens submerged in special solution to keep it clean and moist.

FreshLook Illuminate is not a coloured lens, but rather a lens that compliments Asian eyes by enhancing our irises with the break-through dual-layer printing technology. Basically, the printing of a starburst pattern made up of both a black layer and a brown layer gives a bolder and more distinctive appearance thanks to the surrounding limbal ring which darkens and enlarges our irises.

Check out the starburst pattern achieved by the breakthrough dual-layer printing technology.

And now, the most important part for me, the application of the contact lens onto my eye. I was still a little hesitant in the beginning due to the bad experience I went through many years ago but I was determined to make it happen this time. Surprisingly for me, the FreshLook Illuminate was really easy to put on! Sure, it was about 6 or 7 tries before I managed to pop it in but at least it didn’t take me over an hour just to put on one lens.

Putting the lens on.

The difference is astounding! See how much larger my iris is with the FreshLook Illuminate.

I am truly happy with the FreshLook Illuminate lenses. This is a great lens for beginners as well as people on the go. With the recommended retail price of only RM35 for 5 pairs, it adds up to only RM7 a day for lenses that come with the iris enhancing feature, satisfying both practical and vanity purposes at a simply unbeatable price :)

So if you’re looking around for the right contact lenses, do give FreshLook Illuminate a try. Register at http://www.freshlookilluminate.com/ for a 3-Day Free Trial and you will also receive a 30% discount voucher off your second box purchase. There is more, you also stand a chance to win RM500 plus a 30-day supply of FreshLook Illuminate!

Not a shabby deal for just signing up and having glasses-free days :)
