SPM fever

I was thinking of a semi-interesting filler to post up but couldn’t. Work is really draining me mentally but that said, I’ve never been happier. Anyway, while stalking random people on Facebook, I stumbled upon a set of pictures.

Ladies & gentlemen, these are pictures of my youngest brother, Nicklaus, doing some last minute cramming for SPM. Captured secretly by his bunch of friends.

Knowing my brother, the progression of the pictures really cracked me up. Cause it’s just so him. Semangat and then no semangat already hahaha.

Well my brother, it’s great that you’re putting effort into acing the exams but let it be known that regardless of the results I will still love you very much. However, you’re paying everything yourself once you hit 18, just saying…

The house.

As some of you might know, we’ve just bought a double-storey terrace house in Bandar Sri Damansara. We’ve lived here in BSD for the past 5 years and have grown to love the quiet neighbourhood, the various good food nearby and its accessibility to NKVE, MRR2, LDP & Penchala Link without being too near to high density areas. Of course, it helps that Papa Rich is also opening right at our doorstep and there’s always a nice, clean park in Desa Park City to walk emoCharlie. All we need now is a 24/7 KFC and we could count ourselves jackpot winners.

Anyway, it was a very stressful time for us buying the house because of rogue agents and ill-informed owners. One of the reasons we were in so much pain was also because we were only focused on one residential area. We did check out places like USJ, Kelana Jaya, SS24 etc but in the end we realised that we had been looking everywhere but home.

Long story short, we popped up early this morning to have a final inspection of the house with the property agent. We’ll be getting the keys tomorrow. Been dreaming about this for years and finally it has materialised :)

Credit is where credit due, my bf is the one that has been working diligently towards getting our first home and this is really all his doing. I’m very, very, very proud of my man. Neither of us are from rich families but we’re living a pretty damn comfortable life all because of my babyboo. You’re my rock and I love you so much. I’ll let you play more badminton lor…

As for me, the only think I’ve probably contributed is a lot of bitching about our current apartment. Heh, seriously I don’t even know how I managed to land myself a gem like him.

So some snapshots of the place before we transform it into our humble abode.

The living room now. Must.get.rid.of.floor.tiles.

Jungle at the back of the house.

This is a 13 year old house and needs a lot of work. We’ve got so much ideas about what we want to do with it. Wiring, roofing, tiles, flooring, walls, landscaping the little garden…I’m so excited!

JGM 7620 is an effing retard.

This morning, I woke up happy and gay thinking I could go to work early. Lo and behold, guess what I found?

JGM 7620 is an effing retard.

JGM 7620 is an effing retard!

Not only did she not leave a note with her number, she probably thought she had done me a favour by giving me a 4 feet gap to come out. Stupid brainless bitch.

I toyed with the idea of smashing all her windows but then a bystander told me to just call the cops, which I did.

Long story short, bf took me to work in the end albeit 15 minutes late. When I was at work, bf called me to tell me that cops had arrived at the scene. I had a conversation with one of the cops and he told me it’s a hard case for them because I was supposedly in the wrong too, for parking on the road shoulder and should they tow her car etc, it might backfire on me if she counter reported or something retarded like that. I asked the cop how much would my summon be, and he replied that it would cost me the grand sum of RM70. I told him blatantly that I’m willing to pay that just to get the bitch’s car towed.

In the end, he said he will settle it for me so I really don’t know what happened after. The whole day I was fantasising about how to wreck her car if it’s still there by the time I get home from work. In fact, a friend direct messaged me on Twitter with the suggestion, “IF that car’s still there, break some raw eggs on it. When the sun comes up, the eggs will set. Can’t wash it off. Seriously, it works”.

Alas, it was gone when I reached home. But now another Kelisa is parked right in the same spot -__- WTF is wrong with these people man??? Luckily, due to its small size, I’d be able to maneuver my car out. I’m so glad I’m moving to a different area soon because this place is beginning to be infested with inconsiderate, retarded assholes.

We’re doing the final inspection of the new place tomorrow morning and then we should be getting the keys. Gawd I can’t wait to move out!!
